VALERIA HINOJOSA

@waterthruskin

CO-FOUNDER

Social Entrepreneur. Influencer. Vegan. Yogi. Public Speaker. Boliviana. She worked in the Private Banking Industry for almost 5 years until she switched it all for a life of meaning and to start WaterThruSkin - a platform about a Lifestyle with a Conscience® aimed at inspiring people to live more sustainably. Since then, she’s been traveling the world visiting eco-friendly and soul-enriching hotels to acquire a vast knowledge of different cultures, green design and plant- based cuisine while also promoting sustainable and ethical practices, and the brands and hotels she works with.
In this spiritual and professional journey, Valeria discovered her true passions: nature, writing and social entrepreneurship! This led her to make a career out of being a conscious influencer, to publish this little eco sacred book, to speak at worldwide events about the importance of being in touch with your essence and nature, to launch a sustainable and ethical jewelry and fashion brand, and to open a nonprofit in Bolivia that has education and sustainability deeply rooted in its mission.
Last year, she raised $200,000 through her platforms to aid her country, Bolivia, during the fires that consumed over 5 million hectares of nature, animals and affected thousands of families.In the past 5 years since WTS’ inception, Valeria and her team have also reviewed and promoted over 400 planet-friendly brands and hotels worldwide. Her powerful story has inspired thousands of people around the world, and has reached news outlets such as Forbes, People, Self, Telemundo, Elle, Vogue and many others.
